Youth is very valuable human resource in our country. The responsiblity of our country lies on thier shoulders. There always a struggle
between tradition and modernity. our youth have often been misunderstoodby the elders. The elders feel that the youth of our country is immature and inexperienced, they usually indulge in thoughtless activities. Inspite of giving importance to these thoughts,the elders have to realise thier energies and potential. in india, youth have unlimited source of energy, they can change world with their thoughts. The youth have the zeal to initiate revolutions. Their revolutionary thoughts tilted the British Empire and setup the constitution of India. The youth of our country played a significant role in the freedom struggle. However, since the attainment of independence, the youth in the country have remained more or less inactive.
t The youth today, are bogged down by several problems. They feel alienated by increasing generation gap. Their jobs are affected by growing population and reservations. Due to Nepotism, they face great difficulties in securing good jobs. As a result, in India most of the youth frustrated lot, with sense of directionlessness. Their zeal and energies take different path which includes negative and destructive thinking. Many major problems like corruption, increasing population , child labour, dowry, drug addiction, deterioting status of women, higher illiteracy rate and a set of politicians who serve themselves than the establishment , have spoiled the country. The mordern youth should take necessary steps to decrease the hurdles that have delayed the progress of the country.
n Now the time come for second freedom struggle. Organisation of youth initiate the struggle. corrup[tion has become such an integral part of the country. The entire system of the government have become corrupt. The common man sees corruption everywhere, whether he goes for a telephone connection or to get gun licence or an electricity connection. Orgenigation of youth is very necessary , they should orgenise them self and expose those faces, who are looting the commen man. At a level, they could also expose the mal practices oof both the politician and the public servants. youth have the power to expose the correct dealings and remove the false appearences of politicians. the youth have to take up the responsibility of educating rural people about the benifites of family planning. The educated youth should take necessary steps to teach the illiterate people in rural areas, and also educate them about hygien and the need for cleanliness. They should also be informed about the harmful effects of alcoholism, smoking and chewing tobacco.
Now ,most of the youth start voting and have suddenly become politicaly important as they can decisively tilt the political scales in a general election. Undoubtedly, our youth are going to play a decisive role in choseing their leaders. It is a big responsibility and it will involve them in the task of nation’s restructuring. The youth would be playing an important role in the coming years to transform the hopes and aspirations of the nation in to reality and by encouraging the youth power make INDIA more prosperous in evry feild.
